Rumbo, published by Meximerica Media, is the network of Spanish-language daily newspapers in Texas. Under the aspirational banner Rumbo (pronounced room-bo), the newspapers take their name from the common phrase among Mexican and other Latin Americans migrants heading towards the United States that they are "rumbo al norte"- implying in search for a better life.
Rumbo is unlike any newspaper in the country, English or Spanish. Rumbo gives readers what repeated polls say they want but no other newspaper gives: a tabloid size newspaper more comfortable to read, with a high story count of short well-edited articles broken up by unique enterprise and service stories with lots of explanatory graphics, and all in color. |
