Giovanna Rueda joined Meximerica Media as the Marketing and Public Relations Director. Rueda’s experience as an entrepreneur has provided her with valuable experience in start-ups. She was the founder and marketing director of a recruiting company focused on bilingual and Hispanic professionals in the United States as well as the founder and director of an executive language instruction company in New York.
Rueda has experience in marketing of consumer goods and services in the United States and Latin America. In 2000, she received the Latina Rising Star Award from the New York State Department of Labor because of her entrepreneurial efforts in the Hispanic community in New York.
A native Colombian, Rueda is an Industrial Engineer from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, and holds a master degree in International Finance and Business from SIPA at Columbia University. |
