Before joining the RUMBO team Carlos Puig was Executive Director of the Fundación Prensa y Democracia México, A.C in Mexico City, which is supported by George Soros' Open Society Foundation. Prior to that, he was Editorial Director of elfoco.com, a pan-Latin American website focusing on cultural news. Carlos has also been News Director at CNI Canal 40, Chief Information Editor at Proceso magazine and the Washington correspondent of this publication.
He was a Neiman Fellow at Harvard University and is a graduate of the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. Carlos is married and has two children. |
